Camphill Village Minnesota is a life-sharing, residential community of fifty people, including adults who have disabilities.

Our lives, work and celebrations are woven into the rhythms of nature found in the rolling hills, sparkling waterways, and prairie grasslands of Central Minnesota.

Our community is deeply rooted in the belief that every individual, regardless of limitations, is an independent, spiritual being. Each person is part of the fabric of Community experience and is worthy of recognition, respect and honor.

As I reflect on the year I spent volunteering at Camphill Village MN,  my heart is filled with deep gratitude and reflection. This past year has been one of the most transformative and meaningful experiences of my life. Living and working alongside every  community member has taught me the true essence of community one built on love, respect, service, and shared purpose. 

From early mornings in the garden during the summer and working on the land during the winter, to shared meals, celebrations, and the quiet moments of care, every day at Camphill reminded me of the beauty of human connection and the power of living for something greater than oneself. I’ve learned patience, compassion, and the joy of giving not just through work, but through presence and understanding.
